the town spook rides moonshine
yelped around a range
dust, knee-high gliding
the amusement was started
heart elusive
the busted-out mouths
a dry forbidden wind
easybake moon sprouted all neuroses
box corn melodies
The shrines salted
The shotguns blossom
converting and grinning
walkin’ the paranoia
the fate of all orgies

I alone run for my life.. and soul
into the uncharted foliage

a desert fox met enlightenment

jackrabbits laugh at the worried swami’s attempted reputation
a once well-entrenched man, now madness.

“To erase the alive!” wept the swami
“wounds of frustration colliding after analysis?”

“conclusions are dangerous” said the fox
“there are no meek secrets.
there are no simplistic complexities”

“there is no bliss in merged opposites!” the swami screamed.
there is no bliss in stale, unwanted wisdom..”

“do you have the time?” asked the fox

“What would you do with the time?” asked the swami

“I’d do it all over again, just to see that look on your face.” replied the fox
